| i feel with next season being our last at the willows ,we should make every game a celebration ,every away team should be applauded ,even when the visiting fans are at the bottom of the north stand we should applaud them to for turning up at the willows ,lets make next season a party atmosphere every game we play ,and lets make some real noise in the shed .. i am sure we will all have a great time and our results will improve
keep the faith

| I wouldn't applaud every team that comes, i think giving the away teams a hostile reception makes it harder for them to get the points, and also for me adds the the atmosphere, im not saying we should abuse the opposition players far from just have some good banter. Agree with, making every game a celebration though.

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll

| Hopefully we're back to regular Friday fixtures next season. Way too many Sunday games this year.

| It's nothing to do with playing on Sunday. It's cos we are e! It'd just be as empty if we'd played them Fri. maybe even emptier as not many KR fans would've made it over.

| Sunday fixtures have a alot to do with it IMO as I know a fair few people who didn't go just because of this fact. I myself was very undecided as Sunday is my only day to catch up on things around the house or days out etc. I gave that up this week thinking we may turn on something special but the sooner we get back to Fridays that better as I doubt I'll be attending a Sunday game again anytime soon (and not just because its near the end of the season)

| friday night rugby at the willows is better for most people , the board should make sure they take the fans feelings into consideration , when sorting out next seasons home fixtures , lets all make sure every home game has a party atmosphere ,as it will be our last against each club ,
just know we are going to be a major force next season

Totally agree with you mate, some banter between fans adds to the atmosphere and hopefully makes it a little harder for the opposition. Hopefully the atmosphere will pick up next year, I for one am excited about what next season will bring!!!!

| Sunday games just always tend to have the feel of a friendly or an exhibition match to me. For some reason I can never get myself excited at 3.00pm on a Sunday. It's difficult to explain but the atmosphere just seems better for a night game.

Same here mate always seem more up for it on a Friday plus it gives me something to look forward to in work, And after the Sunday attendances we have had this year then i think its best to stick with Fridays, Its a good job a couple of teams like KR have brought decent followings, If a quins or Catalan game would have bin on a Sunday i dread to think what we would have got.

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book :Others/NA.JPG |

| I think we should play on a Saturday evening - still have the atmosphere of a night match but with no difficultly for away fans to attend.
As long as we kick off late enough local football shouldn't interfere either.

As mentioned by a few people already a lot of Salford fans are Man Utd or "other" football fans so I would envisage our crowds to plummet on a Sunday evening since they will be travelling back from matches and, like a few I know, be after the match. I doubt many would want to come to a rugby match after that. If the football was on the Saturday then I for one would be using Sunday to rest/recover or do the usual family stuff. Sunday matches are a thing of the past for many supporters now regardless of the sport you follow.
Lets hope we get back to a Friday KO to put us all in a great mood for the weekend ahead
