Said after last weeks game he looked so disenchanted when being subbed and that I would'nt be surprised to see him not last the season either to go home or be poached by a bigger club ALA Hudson Smith.

TBH, any player who walks after one tough night shouldn't have come to Salford in the first place, as there will be plenty more to come. I'm hoping he is unwell, and will be back next week.

just a thought like, but wouldn't it be an idea to wait and see what happens before jumping on the lad's back?
as was said on here, one of the few halfway decent performances last week. assuming he IS sat at home feeling unwell with a virus, this is hardly going to make him feel great about being here is it?

[iDear Mum,
Hi from a freezing cold Salford, England. Hope all is well back there in Perth and the summer weather isn't too hot for you?
I've had a great time over here so far. The weather isn't great and the quality of RL is nowhere near as good as in the NRL.
Hwoever, I've seen snow for the first time (although training in it wasn't much fun) and made by home debut last weekend. I thought I'd played quite well considering I'm still settling in to a new, young team but we got booed throughout the entire game by our own fans, then abused on the way off the pitch?!
I've picked up a bug this week so couldn't play on Friday but apparently our 'fans' are now slagging me off on the internet, saying that maybe I shouldn't have bothered coming over here or that there's nothing wrong with me and I just don't want to play.
Have you left my old bedroom as it was? Might be needing it again soon.

This thread sums up our support at the moment. A player misses a game, more than likely through perfectly innocent circumstances, and straight away people are on his back.
Get a grip of yourselves. |
