I am not really a football fan but he deserves this award if there is anyone kids should look up to as a sportsman it would be ryan giggs as someone said above a model pro and he hasnt shown off with is wealth well done ryan giggs

No it's not - it is Sports Personality Of The Year - but looking at some of the winers over past years you'd be hard put to find their personality |

From a psychological perspective, it doesn't say whether the winners personality has to be extroverted or indeed introverted. Giggs, like many others, have personalities, just not particularly entertaining or obvious personalities. If you wanted a big, extroverted personality, as I'm sure most would, Philips Idowu would've surely won...
Erm, think I might avoid this forum immediately after having my head in a psychology text book in future.

Many, but without the risk of serious injury and I'm pretty sure that he's hardly had to endure a mega-strict fitness regime like many other 'sportsmen/women'
As much as I admire Phil Taylor & Co and appreciate their level of skill, let's be honest, darts is a game at any level, not a sport. |
