Surely to god they have already got this??, what was all the hoo haa about a year or so ago when planning permission was granted ????

That was outline planning permission - i.e. "Yes, you can build a stadium of that specification and that kind of appearance on the site". This appears to be full planning - so the detail of what it will look like and be made of etc. We shoudl see some new renders soon.

Just to add to this. Peel put a £400 million tender out last week for the construction of the port and the supporting infrastructure (which I would assume includes all the stadium access roads and modifications to the M60 exits).

That project looks huge,so a little 20,000 seater stadium will be nothing to them.

Up and running and creating jobs in Salford, surely just a matter of rubber stamping through and start dates sorted.

Who wants to bet that Peel submitted their originl plan for a Leigh/HJ type stadium?

Personally I don't care now... anything will do... It seems to have brought Warrington some success.

Any idea of how long it will take for the planning permission to be granted?

Normally at least 12 weeks for full detailed planning permission.

Which takes us upto christmas the work will start which will be a good present for us all, can they turn the ground over now or do we need to wait till then?

i thought the ground has already been done?
