| In no particular order:
Steve Blakely - My favourite Salford player of all time. His stats say it all.
Peter Williams - My favourite player as a kid. Just 100% pure quality
Steve Kerry - Could cut defences to ribbons with a blistering turn of pace.
Darren Brown - For about 2 years he was the best import in Super League imho.
Fata Sini - His performance against Saimts at home in 1997 will live long in the memory.
I could go on forever naming my favourite players through the years.

| The players I've listed are not chosen just on talent (before you lot start). But for some other memorable traits too.
Steve Gibson (legend) not only for his playing, but he was one helluva character.
Paul Shaw - raw talent.
Fata Sini - one of the strongest players ever.
Gary Jack - pace and skill.
Darren Brown - great ball handling and mobility for a big guy.
Mick McTigue - would tackle his own Granny if she tried to get past.
Ian Gormley - great for breaking up crowds in Halifax., and could tackle a bit!
John Gilfillan - daft as a brush.
Shakers Hansen - terrifying all taped/tatooed up and scary for the opposition.
David young - when you hear Aussies say that he "steps up for the drive that nobody else wants"Adie Hadley - One of the very first of the new breed of 15-16 stone speedster wingers that is now the norm.
Tex Evans - what can I say? what a showman, who scored a few too.
Mark Lee - probably the best hooker never to play for GB (bad old days selection stitch ups).
Keith Fielding - very very fast. And don't let us forget that he won "superstars". A really nice guy too.
Peter Brown - a really nice guy who did some great work with youngsters for me. But I suppose he'll always be remembered for trying to knock his ex Salford team mates out and his subsequent five year ban.
Ian Blease - hard working and very tough - a good captain.

| Steve Blakeley (Without a doubt, his points scoring record was second to none and who can ever forget that performance against Wigan in the famous 1996 CC win)
Paul Forber (Hard as they come, used to put the fear of god into the other team)
Andy Burgess (Local lad who put 110% in every time he took the field)
Nathan McAvoy (First time around was immense, scored trys for fun)
Sean Rutgerson (Not around that long, but a really nice bloke and one hell of a player even after having his head taken off he'd still run into a brick wall)
Mark Lee (Quality at either 9 or 7, best tatical kicking game of any Salford player I can remember)
Steve Kerry (My favourite player in the first season I can really remember)
Tex evans (Always got over the whitewash)
Malc Alker (Always been 100% player)
Scott Martin (Pitbull, strong as an ox)

Steve Blakeley is a player that I never really took to, yes in his first few years he looked the real deal and we were calling for him to get a GB call up but after a while he became disinterested for mine.
As for classing him along with Risman and Watkins Pfff c'mon Bobby he may have scored plenty of points, so much so he's currently our 3 top point scorer ever, but c'mon Risman is an Rugby League hall of famer who played 17 times for GB, captaining an ashes tour (touring 3 times) and 18 times for Wales, won 4 Championships, a Challenge Cup, 4 Lancashire Cups, 5 Lancashire League titles and appeared in countless other finals and Watkins (Or the King as he’s often referred) we I need add nothing.
However each to their own I suppose.
Anyway as for my list I'm getting there only 19 more years of players to go through the problem is I'm already up to 29
Is number one!
