| What about this young man's performance last night.
For so many weeks Dean has been in the reserves trying his best week in week out, at long last coach McRae gave him his chance and in my opinion Dean should stay in the first team for the rest of this season in order to prove to OUR coaching staff that he is up to the task.
Reserve team football is no good to Dean McGilvray and last night Dean was more than good enough to claim that wing spot from now until the end of this season in my opinion.
WELL PLAYED DEAN...

| The annoying thing for the kid is that he left Saints to get more 1st Team rugby, however he would have probably been given more of a chance at Saints than he has got with Salford due to the injuries Gardner and Meli (plus his late arrival) have suffered!
His appearance was long over due and long may it continue.
Amazing what happens when you play a Centre in the Centre and a Winger on the Wing!

| Its McRaes new coaching style, playing players in their proper positions, bloody rocket science if you ask me.

Exactly, I will be very disappointed if McRae changes the team. The team has to stay the same and everyone should be made to fight for their positions. No player should automatically just get their position back.

| I said elsewhere that on last night's showing I'd like to see him given more chances. I think a big part of it was probably him raising his game against his old team but if he can sustain that kind of effort we look to have a solid player and a winger who we can actually play on the wing rather than a centre

Agree 100%
I got a copy of the reserves game v Wigan and he looked dangerous every time he got the ball.
