Apparently far from true. His brother was released from our academy but we were more than keen on signing Kallum, however, his Dad took the hump & took Kallum off to Leeds instead. Whether that's the truth or not, Kallum will join the ranks of Mssrs Betts & Morley in being hugely talented local lads (of whom we produce so few) who sadly will never wear the shirt.

| Kallum is a local lad and he lives in strettford. And the reason he played for Latchford was he wanted to play in the premiership and he was unable to do that whilst playing for Folly Lane. (no disrespect to folly). He was then on the Warrington scholarship where he was made a contract offer not only from Warrington but from a few other clubs including Salford. His dad and Kallum turned them down because of what Leeds offered. His dad
and Kallum have done what they think is right for Kallum. Having coached Kallum at junior level i think its fantastic that he is progressing the way he is, and just think the kid is going to be a star of the future and one day play for England. I say good luck to the lad.

He was in the premiership with folly from under 13s until he left.
