I offer my opinion as a supporter of the club for over 45 years on how I think the club could have done something better and it's frowned upon. I could understand the reaction if my views were emotive, personal, disrespectful and insulting but they are not.

I just find it strange there is no counter argument to my views only insults.

I think the club acted correctly.
I think it wrong that you called the club unprofessional for proceeding through the right channels.

I wasn't saying the club were being unprofessional for going through the correct channels that they went. I was saying they should have requested Bradford keep it from the media until talks were concluded with the player or players agent. Surely you must be able to understand the reasoning and benefit of that? All this did was get supportors hopes up that we were making a good signing when the player had no interest in even talking to us.

I agree with this. I think the media side of things could have been handled better by both parties. In saying that however, we've somehow managed to keep our '6 new signings' under wraps...

Clearly we have two schools of thought here, one that says there's no such thing as bad publicity and one that says keep your cards close to your chest until you have a winning hand.

Given that's where most bulls fans expected him to go but they weren't prepared to pay a fee in face of no opposition for mid season signing. Salfords offer have forced Catalans into offering a fee/swap deal. Probably wont be as good a deal for us financially as salfords offer but, assuming that was whiteheads intended destination all along, he presumably would be amenable to it.

Given that even NRL Clubs - are baulking at the transfer fees for the likes of Hock -potentially Tomkins class players.
would Bradford sell to another club for less than they could have got from Salford .
They could do a loan to a real 4 top club , if he was wanted. but to Bradford that 100K would have offset the withheld Sky monies & gone some way to funding a replacement / paying for Carvell.
