| Good idea I think. We want to be making it as easy as possible for people to buy tickets, and attracting new fans as well. Hopefully they get a few more ticket points set up. It might be an idea to have one at a supermarket in a given place and have a shuttle bus from there on the day of the match.

| Would be good if we could get some sort of ticket network set up in various pubs I reckon.

| It's a great idea, but need to be promoted or it will end up as another thing that was briefly tried but then stopped because it wasn't used (because nobody knows about it). If you failed to see the tweet or Facebook post, and merely looked on the official site the only info about ticket purchasing is how to buy online or over the phone from ticketline. No mention of stadium box office/reception opening times, and no mention of the Lowry.
Just so it's clear, it's not the Lowry theatre box office that they are on sale from, it's the Salford Tourist Information Centre, which is inside the Lowry building - left from the entrance towards the restaurant.

| Personally I think the club should be targeting the shopping centres - Trafford Centre, West One, Walkden, Stretford Mall etc. + offering free tickets to children and £2.50 each for their parents, just for a one-off fixture such as the Castleford match. I don't think anyone is likely to fork out £20 on a whim to watch a game they've never seen before.
I personally think the club needs to adopt a 'carrot and stick' approach to our new potential fanbase. Give them a reason to come back for more.

How would the "stick" element work? [i"If you don't come to more games we know where you live"[/i

| I like the idea of walkden shopping centre be interesting to see what the clubs thinks of as it salford area.
Forget manchester as a whole. But Walkden, Worlsey, Trafford, Irlam must all be areas that can be targetted.
Be nice if the high schools in these areas are playing rugby league.
When I went to school in that area we got forced to play union.

Most do play, but only tournaments once or twice a year unfortunately, there's a league or at least there use to be what a few schools from Salford were in but I'm not sure if it still exists.
Should we not be trying to sell them IN the trafford centre at least the day before match day and the match day itself for a few hours before kick off?

| When I was in School(2002-2007). Hope, All Hallows', Wentworth, St Pats, Walkden, Buile Hill, Walkden, Irlam, Albion and even Wright Robinson in Gorton all had rugby league teams, as far as I know this is still the same. We used to get cheap ticket opportunities through school, I'd suggest getting back into all the above schools and promoting the club/selling discounted tickets. It works.

Yes that would work but it'd have to be accompanied by an adult to get a discount something like 20% discount for the child and 10% for the adult willing to participate otherwise you'd get kids buying them cheap and selling them for profit or get a stadium full of out of control school kids, plus with an adult it's two people attending instead of one.

I'm not sure....when I was 15 is rather go the match with my mates and teammates than with my mum . Maybe the adult accompaniment rule should apply for kids under 12/13.
