| Quote: EFCWARRIOR "Bad communication...Players need individual coaching, he didn't do that
I heard some time ago before Brian Noble joined Salford that he wasn't a tracksuit type of coach that worked with the players on the training field. Apparently he's in the same mould as McRae where he delegates this work to his assistants. Perhaps some of the players prefer a head coach that's more hands on and the Doc's got wind of it.

Whilst still trying to get my head around what's gone on in the last 48 hrs (sublime to the ridiculous in many respects) it was interesting to observe Noble in the pre-match warm up to the Cas game as he spent most of it watching the opposition going through the motions as opposed to ourselves.

| Can't believe this news.
Vievers gets sacked 5 games into the season, Noble 7 games into the season, with a new squad, which, after the hull win looked like they were starting to gel,... apart from the defence.
Will Harris get to 9 games into next season ? We could speculate who our next coach is going to be

| Bit of a strange one.
Is he getting any better coach in Harris
At least Noble has decent track record and Harris is still unproven
Could understand it if he had gone for someone like Trent Robinson or the like
It makes you wonder why he chose Harris.

Salford will go from strength to strength under Harris, he is a great coach, he will have learned a lot under Wane at Wigan

Maybe Harrison Hansen put in a good word about him.

It looks like there has been an influence from somebody or some people at the club.

| Reminiscent of the Southampton fiasco when they sacked Nigel Adkins? Hasn't worked out of bad for them since.

He always did, throughout all the successful years he had at Bradford.

| Harris is proven. Proved not to be very good. He proved it for the Crusaders and proved it for Wales.
Some people are just meant to be assistants. He is one.

| The Crusaders players were not very complementary about Harris' coaching ability or management styke after the clubs demise. I feel the Doctor has made a major error with this one.

Paul Anderson, Brian McDermott , Michael McGuire, Shaun Wane all assistants.
McDermott, struggled as Harlequins coach getting lowly 9th, 11th & 13th finishes.
Didn't do too bad on his move to a better club.
As for Harris , to measure his abilty by quoting his tenure in charge of Crusaders in 2011 a season that commenced in crisis and then when worse is harsh.
Wigan must have seen something in him to take Harris on when Wane stepped up.
Measuring Harris abilty on his performance with the Welsh squad in the RLWC, again tough as the Welsh team had the least ringers as Harris chose to stay loyal to his emerging talent rather than invent 15 welsh Queenslanders. It didn't pay off as Wales were well beaten by American & italian XXXX drinkers.
Not saying Harris is the name to lead to trophy success but write him off already seems odd.
