Worse I can recall , ( and I can recall a good many ) is 86/87 season , lost first 11 league fixtures
we broke our duck with a Greg Austin Drop Goal winning 21-20 at Cas. but still ended up at the end of 86 winning just 2 of the 1st 15 league fixtures, then lost just 3 of the last 15..

Our problem since April is we've been missing on a game by game basis our key 3-4 playmakers - Chase - Locke - Dobson - Paterson - Sau . Then we started losing by small margins then the confidence dipped , IH has been in situations where he's fielded the only 17 fit players we've had. Poor try line defence , High Shots & throwing punches , he's not directly responsible for .

Just want to ask what you all think, I haven't watched any SL games this season mainly as Bradford are in the CH, so i dont have much interest but as the super 8's aren't far away im taking notice of who is winning where.

If as it stays (and if players dont return soon i doubt it will improve much for you in your current form) and a few are saying lets give IH till the end of the season, what happens if Salford dont stay in SL and are relegated its not likely but you never know in tense games, will you be in a better position next year will MK stay around if you aren't in SL, may not be nice but better to bite the bullet with IH and get a fresh proven coach in now who can claw the team back up the table, you really need the star players back sooner rather than later, i think to bring some momentum back to the side.

I think if we can get Dobson back on the field and fully match fit our fortunes will improve significantly. The top 8 looks likes its gone now so we need to be careful not to rush Dobbo back too soon and risk further injury. Chase our show pony is now back amd as everyone knows he can a turn a game but we desperately need Dobson's kicking game and organisational qualities. I also wouldn't rule out Kevin Locke featuring later this season after his knee op. I'm still hopeful that we will eventually see the real Kevin Locke (fully fit) with a massive point to prove.

Salford could potentially be one dangerous wounded animal come August.

If Salford get a few players back they will win the middle 8's easy.

Don't think we will win the middle 8 'easily'. Some real tough games in there. But, with a near full team available, I would expect us to finish in the vital top three.

As I asked Koukash on Twitter last night, why are we losing our best players? Thought those day's were gpne. The unrest and the lack of investment for next year is worrying. The future is looking bleak.

Just seen the attempts at tackling for the Sts tries. Shambolic to say the least.

If we lose on Sunday it will be time to lock the doors and throw away the keys. If ever we need a good solid disciplined performance and result to raise the spirits it's right now. I just hope we don't shoot ourselves in the foot by giving away silly unnecessary penalties or getting player(s) sent off.

With Salford there is always something though. This year it's injuries and suspensions. Next year it will be something else.
