Whilst I might agree with your opening statement, after all who would take a barren period if they had a choice? I have to say that I think that barren periods are worthy of note and serve a great deal rather than "nothing".

Only by assessing them at the time can you hope to get out of them, unless you believe in Lady Luck? Only by reflecting on them can you fully appreciate the good times.

Go on then I'll admit it, I'm just interested in your club's situation from a couple of angles in that although from Warrington I live IN Salford and know a few of your speccies. I went to school on Weaste Lane at the time of Dixon, Coulman, Watkins etc

Additionally, although Warrington were probably never anyone's second favourite team even in our darkest days, the arrival of Simon Moran and his Take That ticket salary cap economics changed the perception of others towards us and quite possibly the same will happen to you?
