We only conceded 16 points - AND we won the 2nd half !
We even had a player putting pressure on their kicker,eventually.

You mean when he consistently failed to penalise you for offside at numerous play the balls?

Awful game. Some of that was down to the weather but we made some ridiculous errors that top level teams just shouldn't be making.

Draw was a fair result overall.

Two bombed tries, Chase not being sin binned for stopping a break, players being tackled into touch, but you benefiting from it, as we did the same, but getting a different ruling. Try be a Rovers fan then disillusionment in the game goes hand in hand.

I was surprised about the sin bin not being given, I'll give you that. The penalty for being put into touch was the right call. The player was tackled and was being dragged. Another player (I think it was Sa'u) joined the tackle and was trying to push the pile. At that point the tackle was over and the ref called held. They didn't stop so he gave the penalty.

Anyone know what the attendance was?

Dont tell me you actually paid to come to a match Eccles? What a miserable life you must lead.

Yet 5 mins later he decided he didn't want to play by that rule anymore. Strange that.

Same thing has happened to us twice this season, players being dragged back over the line and drop outs given, instead of penalties. It depends on the ref and the team, there is no consistency.

Were any of these complaining rovers fans actually at the match or speaking with the benefit of radio roverside?

It's a start, we conceded less than 30 points and at least we didn't lose. Let's hope we can kick on next week.

Real shame about the falling attendances but a few wins and they'll be back hopefully.
