Apparently there's cash turnstiles for South and West stands, so no need to queue up at a ticket office and then back at gate.
I'm looking forward to it there's potentialfor it to be an interesting game for a 'friendly'?

| Well I enjoyed that. A summary of my thoughts below;
*Warrington blew us away in the first half. They were much quicker than us at the play ball and made far to many easy yards. I think we had the ball in their half twice and bombed both opportunities, what Tommy Lee was doing throwing that pass ill never know.
*Rangi Chase lost all sense of composure and instead of holding the line, he went looking for the big hit on Ben Westwood twice and left huge gaps in our defence. I can see him frustrating the hell out of us this season with a moment of brilliance one minute and then a stupid error the next. His work for our first try was magic. Anyone see why he got binned?
*Jason Walton was our best player in the first half, debatable whether he's a centre or not but great performance.
*Second half, much better. We got in their faces, slowed their play of the balls down and sped ours up.
*We bombed three golden opportunities which we should have converted. Again a lack of composure.
*Greg Johnson came on and shown why he should be in the starting 13. Excellent pick out of the air for his try.
*Stuart Howarth was impressive during his stint, put himself about and worked very hard.
*Jake Mullaney was lively throughout and took up some excellent positions in defence.
*We had plenty of joy down the blind side with Rangi, Sa'u and Meli. Shame Sa'u doesn't look fit yet, but he showed glimpses of what he is about.
*Our forwards looked big and tough. Tasi again was the stand out for me, but Griffin, Puletua and Walne were equally impressive. I don't think anyone is going to bully us this season.
*Not many teams will nil Warrington at home in the second this season.
*It was a friendly and in the first 40 Warrington shown us the level we need to aspire too, however I felt we came out in the second half and were the better team. We were unlucky to lose tonight and should have won, I hope the boys take plenty of positives from that.
*Great away support from our fans.

| After a slow first half I came away happy. The thing that needs working on for me is our defence around the ruck, far to slow.
On a bright note Chase and Smith were doing things with the ball the Wire half backs could only dream of, fair enough not all of them came off but in the conditions it was a joy to see.
Considering there nailed on by most for top 4 and we stil have the likes of Hock, Rapira and Gleeson to come into the side im even more optimistic about a top 6 finish than I originally thought.
One more thing, while the likes of Mose Masoe at saints and Pettyborn at Wigan have been gettin raved about (due to the world cup) I think the real gem out of them all might be our very own Lama Tasi, the guy doesnt take a backward step and his defence is rock solid, got a good engine on him to. Exciting times ahead for sure!!

| Was amusing to see Warrington resorting to drop goal attempts in an attempt to close the game out, in a friendly, vs last years bottom of the league side.

| I didn't go to the game but I believe Jason Walton was impressive. Coupled with Greg Johnson having a blinder against Leigh it looks like the Batley boys could be a shrewd piece of business.

Typical warrington fan! Never ever give any credit. And Youngsters like who O'brien Evans or laithwaite? All have had at least 2 years super league experience. In the last 10/15 we were constantly on your line, if we wasn't such a new ungelled side we would have had about another 3 more tries near the end, face is you were kept scoreless the whole second half like it or not by a brand new team in only their second game together!

He conceded at least one try with his personal vendetta.
Even when Thaler spoke to him after the try it was still obvious his head had gone.
I was surprised he wasn't taken off by the coaching staff before the inevitable happened.
Looks like the RFL wasted more money on the world cup camp in South Africa as there was no obvious friendship and bonding apparent between the 2 England players.( Unless the half-back union are on a mission for the Blake Green incident at the Grand Final )
It will be interesting to see if Gareth Hock has the added responsibility of keeping our mercurial maestro restrained as well as adding some steel to our left side defence.
2014 is gonna be a roller coaster...

| I thought at the time, why hasn’t Noble dragged Rangi off and given him 10 minutes to calm down. However moments later he produces some magic and creates a try out of absolutely nothing. I think were going to have to accept that at times this season he could do something absolutely ridiculous but will then make up for it moments of pure brilliance.
I loved how up for it our boys looked in the second half though. If we can start with that level of intensity and maintain it over 80 minutes we’re going to trouble a few of the big clubs this season, home and away. It will take a big, strong and tough pack to get one over on our forwards. I also noticed how helpful it was/is having big strong backs such as Meli, Sa’u, Walton and Johnson to help share the workload around when we’re coming out of our own 20.

Really! Well I didn't realise?
And my point was Warrington are favourites for SL and with abit more composure and abit more clever thinking we would have won.

Yes, but better practised in a match situation I would guess, friendly games are just high intensity training sessions anyway

They do, they pretend to be Wigan. They've actually been trying for almost 60 years.
