With Carvell going to Bradford and rumours of others leaving Warrington I expect them to make some signings shortly.
Quite surprised there hasn't been any announcements yet.Perhaps they are waiting until the end of the season as they are challenging on all fronts.

I'd be happy if the Docs money started a chain reaction through the league and down through the divisions of money changing hands for players, someone mentioned earlier that Oldham have bounced a £300 lottery win to a fan which could only be helped by players from lower leagues being signed for money by teams higher up.

This is another reason why people like the Doc are needed, we need more like him to kick the sport of RL up the and bring fresh investment and ideas.

It would be a very welcome announcement if Whitehead agrees to sign. I know a few supporters who have been getting a little frustrated after so much media speculation linking us with so many players. Some fans I know can't accept having to wait until August before the club reveal who is coming in. They have interpreted this as a potential problem suggesting other clubs are making announcements so why can't we.

Hopefully if this happens it may quieten or appease some of the doubters.

I do love the ridiculous logic from people criticising him for having no ambition if he comes to us. We have to actually sign decent players to attempt to become a top side.
