I totally agree with you optimist about the chants from some sections of the shed every home game we try and wind up the opposition and end up with egg on our faces i just hope the next home game we have learnt to chant our own boys and forget the away fans for once

Just sing pro-Salford songs for the full 80 mins then you don't have to worry about timing at all.

And with regards to the 'oush' if you can come up with something more creative than 'magic word' then I think it could potentially be quite good tbh.

The shed / Red army is an institution, its bigger than you, me or any individual, its traditions have been passed down from father to son, mate to mate from when it all began in the 80s with the terrace legends like Budge,Big Dave and Eddie and many more who set the wheels in motion to what we have today.

At this moment in time the stage is ours and we owe it to them to give the shed the send off it deserves and to carry its traditions into the new stadium in barton in 2012

Reading some of these posts i'm reminded why i don't stand in The Shed anymore.

It's surely up to the club to manage the crowd in their own stadium rather than the RFL sanitising it from afar with an army of dictatorial killjoys.

you know the one that has slowly started to die a death since about 2006?

used to get so excited at the thought of there being a salford game on, (even at home) not just for the rugby, but for the shed, the atmosphere we created and standing and watching the rugby with a really good group of lads... as Zenith has said some have vacated to the jeb end, i even remember the scholes's standing at the club end for a while!!

Remember the old banter with the 'right side'? or that famous leeds game where they had their singers stood in the shed? absolutely rocking atmosphere at times!

if we could re-create that for just one of the remaining home games i would be very happy, unfortunately i dont think that will happen, i dont think we are giving the shed the send of it deserves!

Time moves on like people do it won't go back to the glory days you move on adapt or die that's both on and off the field.

To be fair imo this season the shed has taken a giant step forward in atmosphereso I ain't moaning
