Yes, but there is now a level salary cap in SL. The problem Salford have is that we can't afford to spend up to it. If we had more money we have space under the cap to spend a few hundred thousand pounds more on players.

If we are to loose Turner and Myler I will become seriously dissolutioned with the whole idea of the franchice and the clubs ambition to be a big club.

for which the powers that be at the rl should be doing something about it. The idea of the franchise is the bring youngsters through and give them a chance and also to even out the playing field as much as they can to make for an exiting season.But while Idiots like offiah are doing what he is doing it will always be the big teams at the top and teams like us at the bottom

Offiah is doing pretty what most agents do - it's just the fact that he's higher profile than other agents that we hear more about it. I've not seen a story on it but if he has literally been quoted as saying that they want a "king's ransom" then he's more of a tw@ than I already thought he was - completely unprofessional thing to say.

Hopefully he realises that Myler is contracted to us for another year, and will still then be young enough for Salford to be able to demand a kings ransom for anyone else to sign him from us.

Having said that if we do lose Richie then so be it.
It would be a sad day if it happens but the club will move on as it always has.
It is a credit to our scouting and development teams that we now have players that other clubs want,when have we been able to say that in the past.

Just a thought but when Robbie Pauls contract expires at the end of this season (I think) shouldn't there be a healthy wedge left in the salary account? Why not use that towards keeping the young lads?
