Do you mean fringe or maybe min - no actually that's to crude even for me
I say good luck to him, will bet that nothing comes of it as far as a rebuke as he will just openly come out and tell of the indiscretions of other teams. Think too long other teams have known what has been going on but never had the fortune of have someone taking over with the wealth to try and make use of the same tactics.
Would hope that the Doc though does come up with a decent signing other than griffin soon or wih his press comments he does stand the risk of making the club a bit of a laughing stock.

I wonder if one option is for say the Doc to buy Oldham and get some decent players on their books and loan them to Salford on a dual registration thing, is there anything in the dual reg rules to prevent that?
Two top quality Aussie imports on Oldhams books loaned to us and some of our better fringe players sent back in return with some added financial investment would be win win for both teams, with the added benefit to us of two players wages not counting towards the cap and two less wives to find cleaners jobs for.

I wouldn't feel comfortable using a proud and historic club like Oldham like that. I'd rather Benji Marshall's wife get paid £100k a year to clean the club shop.

MR - well thats what I was hinting as I think that loophole hasnt been closed. Remember Mr & Mrs Hetherington - Leeds & Hull etc - so nowt to stop Mrs Koukash maybe having a bid for Oldham. They had another Winding Up Order the other week so the Chairman would sell I believe. He must have had enough. |

Doesn't automatically have to be overseas players.
Tomkins and Charnley signed by Oldham and loaned to us would do nicely
Would certainly think there is a loophole on the dual reg system which someone will soon find, just depends if someone takes advantage of it and then it's closed if they are given dispensation for exploiting it before it was closed. |
