I know this may mean little, but the takeover is supposed to happen this week according to Twitter. Might have been Martin Saddler or the Club or someone, I can't remember.

We've had the 'imminent' thing for a while but you never know. The Club also said today on Twitter that signings were very close to being announced.

I feel sick. If this is true then Broughton will be next. How the f*ck is one of the fastest wingers in SL going to score tries with f*ck all inside him in the centres? I'd rather Scott Naylor came out of retirement than we re-signed that Platt as well. I've been trying to look on the bright side of things for months now and have kept telling myself that this is going to finally be the dawn of a new era but quite frankly (if true) this has well and truly pi$$ed on my chips

Normally I see the fixtures announced and think "great, can't wait for the season to start" but right now I just don't give a , and that really hurts.

You wonder about the ambition of new investors if they'd rather start with a club with no debt than no players.
