| It's a strange one this. From what I can read, Locke has tended his resignation... That doesn't mean it will be accepted. I thought if you had a contract, you couldn't just hand in your notice and go and play elsewhere. Or have I got it all wrong?

| Since Wakey's announcement, there's been an alarming amount of Salford fans on psychopathetic media scoffing that Kevin has just joined a relegated club...
Do these fans not realise that relegation is decided by the 7 fixtures in the middle 8s alone, regardless of position prior to split??
I seen more than enough from Wakefield 2 weeks ago to know that we were lucky to come away with the points, and I'm sorry but every team has injuries and our form since Easter has been woeful (yes I know we are getting almost full squad now) and for many to think we will make the top 8, it's ridiculous..
Hull KR games are also being seen as easy wins... their last 3 games have been a narrow defeat by Cas (who since then have beaten Leeds & Saints) and a 22 point winning margin against Widnes, followed by a 26 point winning margin against Warrington - now compare that to us scoring only 12 points apiece against Wigan & Saints, and being the 1st SL team not to put at least 30 on them (16-24) since March.
Remember, it's only top 3 in middle 8s that are automatic in SL next season... what if we ended up in 4th or 5th play off position against Wakefield??? Twitchy bottom time

| On the field, he looked pretty good to me. Even when he was strapped up and limping he was faster than most other players. Good luck to him at Wakey. Hope he plays well, except against us, of course.

He's bloody good at faking a limp if he isn't.

| Was the best player on the pitch against Castleford and Hull when we were down to the bare bones. Both occasions he appeared to be playing on one leg, therefore if he is now as fit as I believe he is then Wakefield have done some very smart business and got themselves a cracking player.
Whether he has the heart and commitment is another story, but don't forget he will be playing for an NRL contract next season so the emphasis is on him to impress.

| Talking to a mate of mine who's a warriors fan in Auckland yesterday. I told him that Locke had moved on and had never quite hit the heights at Salford. Think we were all expecting so much after the first Huddersfield match He was saying that he and most fans would love him back there and don't see the big deal with Tomkins. When he talked about his expectations with Tomkins he sounded like me talking about Locke. Maybe it's just one of those things where both players flourished in the environment they were in and both need to get back there.
