It's obviously only speculation at this stage with regard to the unexplained absense of some former Cronulla players contracted in the 2010-11 season. However, should these players be found guilty and banned globally, where do you think it would leave existing clubs legally with regard to contractual agreements?

Do you think Salford and Leeds etc, could persue financial compensation from the Cronulla club or even the players themselves? Again it's only speculation but I wonder if this could be the reason Tim Smith hasn't looked the same player he was last year?

No, as he's a contracted Salford player for next season it will depend on whether Cas have enough cash to tempt the Dr to sell him to you. Call me naive, but I get the impression money really is no object for us at the moment and according to Twitter he's going nowhere. Enjoy him while you can..,

If he's under contract, if Cas don't offer money/players, it wont matter what you do or where he wants to play. Harris may want him in the halves next season, especially seeing as he's an academy product with reduced Cap space and he's a kicker which we don't have at the moment.

The fact is, he's a Salford player who will probably be coming back after gaining great first team experience. Barring some cash and/or players in return you are going to have to get used to the fact.
