Me and my family stayed till the end. I agree it did feel a little boring. Must admit though , well done to our chairman for giving the free tickets to the local schools. OK , it may have boosted the crowds for all the wrong reasons , but I hope a lot have caught " the bug " and will think about coming again at our next home game.

| If they allocated a free hotdog with the ticket then they would be on a winner.
Most kids I saw were either eating or on their phones with no interest at all in the game.
If some decide to come back then good, but judging by the fact that a lot of them had gone by about 60 mins does not bode well.
Bradford on a Friday night is not the game to pick for newbies to attend on free tickets.
The delay meant that most would not get home till around 10:30 pm and with young kids that is a late.
Put out freebies for a game on a Saturday afternoon against Warrington Leeds or Saints now the football season has finished, and see then what the interest is and if they return.

Whilst it's a fair point about the time, and the delay - as it stands, a game v Warrington, Leeds or Saints right now will be even less pleasant than what was served up last night.
We're basically in limbo at the moment. We are currently a poor advert for ourselves.

I left with over 15 minutes to go, first time I've done this in many years. It was a dire game and a poor advert for Salford and rugby league. With all those newbies there on the freebies, talk about shooting yourself in the foot. I feel for the doctor he doesn't deserve a performance like that.

| I can't quite put my finger on what I feel is missing at Salford. Is it the stadium, team, something else or all? I know the team needs strengthening and will be strengthened but the place lacks soul and I don't feel the adrenaline, spirit or atmosphere I've felt in the past. Lets hope for a few top quality signings to support the Red Devils name change. Hopefully this will help to get the buzz back amongst the fans next year.
I know it's been said before but the majority of the vocal support behind the posts, rather than the sideline doesn't help imo.

| I may be in a minority of one, but I thought there was a real buzz in the stadium last night. There were loads of families in the West stand and, hopefully, some will come back. One point about encouraging people to attend. The Bradford mascot, Bullman, made a real effort to get the Salford kids to boo him. They were lapping it up and he was acting up for all he was worth. Neville needs to look to his laurels!
As for the game, it was great shame we couldn't put on a winning display, but that's sport for you. Nobody could have planned for Bradford's traffic problem and Chris Nero's injury (hope it's not as bad as it looked). And anyway, I thought our defence looked far better than it has looked. Still not good enough, but Bradford had to rely on some luck and a lot of hard work to score.
Overall, disappointing but not the end of the world. Well done Dr Koukash for a great promotion and for getting out there and selling it!
