Here's one for you: if Salford do manage 21 points this season, 3 more victories, then Phil Veivers's win/loss record in Super League will be better than any other Salford coach at the same amount of game's coached in their respective tenures.

For me this season isn't about wins or points.

4 years of watching a poorly coached team that looked like they struggled to find the field let alone the try line, it was more about the progress.

I can see what impact Long and Veivers have had on this team, and whilst they are still frustrating to watch, maybe it is a sign of how far we have come that we get annoyed in games such as Hull KR/Bradford.

I see this progress as a long term issue and hopefully next year will see us turn narrow losses to wins.

This season has been awful but mainly for off field issues. Now we have the spector of Administration. What a first season in the new stadium

Winning the home games is imperative.
We are quite fortunate to be playing KR as they have recently suffered injuries - but stifling the skills of Dobson and Green with a new half-back formation will be a real test.
We are quite fortunate to be playing FC 6 days after they will have a fierce derby with KR.
The 3 games this month will probably decide our play-off hopes.
We play Wigan away 8 days before the Challenge Cup final.Will they be at Wembley or will it be Leeds ?
If it is Leeds they may over-celebrate before we play them and as winning the CC is the only trophy the old-stagers haven't won then I don't expect them to be fully focussed having just won the one elusive trophy.
I do worry about which of our squad may be leaving but I expect,and hope,we sail past 20 points and gain a place in the play-offs.
I think it is the least the coaching staff deserve.

Could of potentially been on 25 points at this point and if we would of won the remaining games we would be on 31 points (excluding the 50/50).
However I do believe it all comes down to Sunday, if we don’t win at KR I don’t see much hope of us making the play offs.

Not that we have much hope now.
