Quote: Michigan red "Sorry but I fail to see what evidence there is to back that up?, think people are also mixing up purchasing the stadium (not that it will ever happen in the memory of man) and the team. Can you see Wilky selling the club to anyone without the most cast iron gaurantee about it's future?.
I honestly think that if the club make a decent fist of it over the next couple of seasons then someone will come in to buy the club as an investment, Salford with a modicum of sucsess on the field would be a good investment for many but unfortunately for the club it isn't currently as the product on the field isn't attractive enough.'"
Daz I would say I fail to see where your evidence of him wanting to come onboard is and take the club on as you seem to think will happen. Plus anyone can tell wilky they will look after the club then it up the wall.
Believe me if the new mayor decides as stated previously he wants to cut council tax and recoup the money from the stadium. Kennedy is in a great position to buy a brand new purpose built modern stadia. There's no way that any one at salford would be in a position to buy the ground.
In which case Kennedy's main priority would be to make sale even more successful than the bottom dwelling mediocre rugby league team that has a lease at the ground.
