Lancashire League Winner = 1932/33, 1933/34, 1934/35, 1936/37, 1938,39.
Runner Up = 1929/30, 1939/40.
Only twice did we finish lower than 5th during 13 seasons let's not forget he /we beat the Aussies twice. Toddy Toddlers aka The Red Devils our greatest team and Manager in history!

Other than that in my lifetime there hasn't been much to go on but I'd say we played some wonderful rugby under Gregory and for me it was just a pity he had 'issues' or we could have had a coach that could have taken us places.
i remember that day well going into the ground with smokey faces!! my generation (ive been watching 21 years) has to be a Andy Greg and Big Karl. Funniest moment was when my dad was argueing with a steward to let him out at half time , during the John Harvey saga
