I think Jodie got "hampered" a couple of times which looked to have put him out of his stride pattern. Think the forward was coming at him from an angle as well so it could've made him look deceptively quick. Fair play to the guy though as soon as Jodie broke the 2nd attempted tackle I thought he was away and gone.
Slightly O/T but it would be interesting to see how a SL team made up of the fastest players in each position would go. The Hull KR prop (Lovegrove?) who made a 50m break against us at The Willows looked to have a decent turn of foot for a big man.
Lovegrove came over as a winger originally. Seemed to turn in to a prop after one full off season. Wonder what he was eating?? Name change to Ste Royd anyone??
