I can't. I would put my mortgage on it being true though.
All it would do is encourage current ST holders to buy earlier at a lower price.
Any increase in the number of ST holders would be slight and even then they would be paying a much reduced price, hence reduceing the overall revenue generated from ticket sales.
It may also put people off buying a ST if they can't get it in October ("just coz I disn't have time/money to get my ST in Oct, why should I pay an extra £40 for it?!"icon_wink.gif
The beauty of the 'pledge' scheme that Bradford are operating is that is gurantees they maintain their current ST revenue, as reduced prices only come into operation if there are significant increases in the numbers sold. This in turn gives ST holders an incentive to encourage friends, family and colleagues to buy a ST as it may end up saving them money.
