Anyone else a bit sick of Salford getting no credit for beating saints? I heard it before on SSN about our 'shock' result etc. Then watching Saints Hull KR tonight and all they were banging on about was how poor saints were last week, about how none of their players turned up, about how they have to quickly get over a defeat from the deminuitive Salford blah blah.

Yeah they were big favourites but we are in the Super League as well and we did beat them last year at the Willows. It just annoyed me how we get no recognition at all even though we were the first team for a fair amount of years 40 past them.

If you'd done it 2 seasons in a row then maybe people would give you credit............ oh hang on a minute........

i know its annoying mate but this has been the case for a long time now.We have been so inconsistent for a few years now so i guess that dont help.I dont care what anyone thinks the best team won last week and for the 1st time this season id say our attacking game was as good as anyones (brilliant to watch may i say).The big test now is to see if we can do it again on saturday night against Catalans.have we won two in a row since we came back to the elite last year??anyway lets hope for a win tomorrow night.

Indeed we have; twice in fact.

We beat Wire then Leeds in subsequent games last April, then beat Bradford and Huddersfield in consecutive matches last May.

Doesn't happen often though!

Just been chatting to the domestic authority who praised me for supporting through thick and thin ... I worked out it is 8 years thick and 40 thin. This has given me a thick skin. I do not care if it was St Helens (or Leeds or Huddersfield or ...) fault. The fact remains that for all time THE RECORDS SHOW WE WON, so b0ll0x to the commentators.

Good to see Salford going round 'shocking' the big boys. Keep going.

It'd be nice if we'd show the same enthusiasm and endeavour against the small boys as well... (Fully recognise that we beat Catalans last night. More of the same against KR, Cas, Crusaders and dare I say it, Wakefield possibly...)
