Was hoping it would be the actual application, not just a press release. Whoever comes in is going to find it tough, Leigh have the infrastructure and facilities, nobody can question that. Personally I think having Salford amd Leigh along with Wigan and Saints is a bad idea. but then I can't really see a preferable candidate in Featherstone, Bradford or York. Toulouse would be great for the French game, some interesting days and weeks ahead. |

What else do they 'bring to the table'. I love that phrase so much, so thought I'd use it as well. (Thanks Jon Wilkin)
In 2006 they entered the UK set up, got promoted to the championship, but in 2012 returned to the French league (what were the reasons exactly ?), anyway they lasted 6 years, which was twice as long as Toronto and should be congratulated I guess. So in 2015 they are again back in the English game, gained promotion to the championship via the play-offs, So they have now been in the champ for 3 seasons but they are now destined for SL because they are based in the south of France and would provide some kind of derby for the Super Leagues darlings Catalans. So let me know the other reasons that they should be allowed in, apart from the fact that they are not an English club.

After a few failed attempts with embarrassing outcomes, being [sizeGIFTED[/size a SL spot is the only way for ya is it?
It will suit me fine for Leigh to try and [sizeEARN[/size promotion the right way, something you are not near to achieving. |

Agree,IF Bradford are gifted a place then I will only be watching the NRL next season, makes it more of a sham than kicking Toronto out. |

On a serious note, the very best of luck to Leigh (and the rest applying). Unless the draw bridge is going up, which it doesn’t sound like it is, then it’s nothing but an invitation to a season of hidings and potential financial issues back at odsal for us so I’d rather sit this one out.
I keep saying it’s not us and we shouldn’t get it, but I can’t help but think I could be stood in super league away grounds next year, buying your beer and tickets and getting slagged off for not deserving it whilst parting with my hard earned
