Does seem a strange one. As has been said, it's a grade F offence and by all means take in to account previous good record but don't downgrade it AND then take that in to account. It's like he's got a double discount.

Business has been slow down at the disciplinary, maybe their trying to encourage more "traffic" 
Why is it that big name players or, those from the bigger clubs get treated differently.
