| Why won't the RFL announce it officially ? There obviously won't be relegation as the 2 'overseas' clubs who play in our league don't know if they can play any home games in their country/home base. I doubt very much there will be promotion with no relegation, as the championship shows no signs of restarting any time soon. Might as well cancel the inferior bottom 2 leagues fixtures , and just let Sooper League finish it's season, if they can sort out the pay dispute amongst some clubs.

Not true. Jean carried the flag for an Anglo French league, as absurd as that was and has turned out to be. Silent H now carries that exact same flag which is fair enough people are allowed to dream. You have now got your reaction whoever you are so no more please

Well Toronto appear to be part of the issue here. You would think that the Superleague clubs would want to see the season out and have Toronto relegated, but they won at Huddersfield in style in a game the Fartown coach wanted his team to win as Ken Davey is a massive Challenge Cup Fan.
Meanwhile HKR's thin squad started to collapse, so the last thing SL want is Rovers going down. They were relegated once before when they did not come bottom, and Hudgell did not like this one bit and rightly so. If Rovers went down again Hudgell and Crossland could leave. They have tried to leave before when Tony Larvin made an offer.
This is all about keeping HKR secure in Superleague, not protecting TWP from relegation because the Transatlantic League is the future. What the SL clubs are not prepared to do is give the £500,000 parachute payment to Toronto if they go down which is in the rules. Instead they want to give that to the Championship. Matthew Shaw reports on the issues in RL & LE in a "stop press" article. Go and buy one guys
P.S. I don't know how Toronto will get under the salary cap, but it may involve maximising the Marquee player allowance and still running with a thin squad because I think the players they talk about signing are one thing the players they end up with are another. They want Myler and Ward from Leeds, this may be these lads last pay day so I don't see "ridiculous deals"?

This being clubs wanting to cut players contracts because they aren't playing? Hull players have agreed a 15% pay cut for three months. Other clubs are apparently looking to sign players with offers for next year which rankles with the existing players who are facing cuts. Warrington suggest cuts should be greater for the bigger earners. That being the first 30% of pay being protected, with earnings over £100,000 being reduced by 25%.
If they don't get back on the field they may find they lose even more.

Aaron Bowers opinion is pretty sound. The 2020 season has been corrupted to the point relegation would be unfair. Which i agree with. The only teams that want to complete the season in the Championship only want to continue to try get promoted and none of these teams offer more on or off the field than Toronto.

Given the above agreement, between TWP ESL and the UK government there will no desire to lose the wolfpack before the end of the current deal when the structure can be changed.
The cherry on top is the 11th share ESL teams get with TWP in the league. If left up to the Superleague clubs Toronto will alway be in.
