| Should be a decent match up this one.
Hull with their star studded squad are not yet firing on all cylinders and Trinity, although still short in the halves are starting to get some of their injured troops back to fitness.
The manner of FC's defeat to Catalan last week, makes this intriguing.
It could have them fired up to really rip into Trinity and its sure to be a lively opening 20.
However, it may also have dented their confidence, which would suit Trinity just fine.
Also this is only Wakefield's 2nd outing of the season a Belle Vue, having despatched Wire quite comfortably in their previous home fixture.
Hull are the bookies favourites but, this one could go either way.
Come on Trin !

It's one of those games that anything could happen.
If Hull fire on all cylinders, they could win comfortably, equally, if Trinity start well, they could win by 10/12 points or, option 3, is a tight game, with one side sneaking the win in the last 5 minutes, hopefully Trinity

| On paper Hull win this hands down.... but paper means nowt when it comes to Hull! I'll go Hull by 8 but definitely wouldn't surprise me if Wakey by the same score.

"It's the refs fault again". Biggest moaning whingers in RL.: |

| Probably the most interesting game of the evening this. If Hull play at their best they'll have little problem seeing off Wakey but FC have been poor this season (opening game apart) and confidence looks shot so if they play anything like their usual this season Wakefield have more than a decent chance particulary with it being at the pit and with Johnstone getting back to his form. (terrific try against Cas)
Predictable, though, is the blame game for this match has already started over on the Wakey board with James Childs getting hammered days before the game has even kicked-off. Must be somekind of record, even for them.
As for Hull, Radford is already seriously feeling the heat and it'll be cranked up further with a defeat tonight to average opposition. Whilst certainly not a GF winning side, they really should be doing better with the quality they have in their squad.

Child is an awful ref.
The reason that he's do well loved at Wakefield was for the 37 (THIRTY SEVEN) penalties, which I believe is a SL record, that he gave in the Magic game against Cas a few years ago.
There will never be any coming back from that, ever.
We did actually win a couple of games with him in charge last season but, generally, he spoils the game with endless pedantic stoppages.
Even at Cas a couple of weeks ago, he seemed desperate to give Cas a penalty try towards the end of the second half. To even contemplate that call shows what an absolute plank he really is.
Most RL supporters were glad to see the back of Klein but, we ended up with this guy in his place

| One thing for certain, neither set of fans like him, so we can't accuse him of having a favourite!
i just hope he lets the game flow, should have been a Sky game, in fact all three games tonight would have been best as the Thursday, Friday, Saturday fixtures, the unopposed training session at Leeds was embarassing last night and ai can't see past Catalans mauling Salford tomorrow.

Fair enough mate I won't argue with your stats but it does seem some of your fans give all of the current refs tons of stick rather than just Child. Although I think Thaler is the best of so-called top refs at the moment.
Bring back Ray Tennant and Robin Whitfield!

You won’t be able to argue against this either.
