Apparently there's been a ton of controversy over this promotion in Aus but I'm not clued up enough on the political situation over there to know why it's offended so many people.
Anyone got any ideas?

Some Aussie presenter has complained about Mitchell wearing an Aboriginal flag as if that was somehow 'political'. They are very sensitive about racial heritage issues over there. There are also a few complaints that the promo is making other political points and is overly 'woke'. Basically the same nonsense we get over here. |

Various reasons - Mainly centred around Mitchell and his Aboriginal flag, and the two SoO women who had a kiss after the match. (There is the famous picture of them kissing that appears in the video for a few seconds) |
