Correct, he’s a flat track bully and one trick pony who only turns up in games that are going Warringtons way. In tight games or when Warrington are under pressure he’s nowhere to be seen. Warrington need him to perform in the big games because Patton is useless but there’s no signs of that happening so far.

this is exactly the critisism levelled at him in Aus from his time at the raiders. he actually got dropped a bit in his last two seasons for not contributing enough to the team. every now and again though he'll have a game where he is unplayable. lack of consistency was the big problem for him - though to be fair you could apply this to plenty of other players in superleague too. not too sure patton will be at warrington too much longer either. As for hull fc, they are a team that probably no others would want to face in a one off game, as you never really know what you are going to get, though salford seem to be also fitting into this category too

to be honest, and this isn't getting covered too much at the moment, our forwards hit a wall at sintellins and haven't recovered yet, we're not offloading the same way as we were and we're very hesitant in defence, whatever we were doing at the opening couple of months, we're not doing now, oh and patton is and getting targeted in defence horrendously.

Patton is a turnstile, most of the tries we concede are straight through his edge/area.

The most missed tackles by a Warrington player (45) are attributed to Austin. Myler (65) is the worst in SL. Dec Patton isnt in the top 20 of SLs worst offenders.

Was on the fence on Patton wanted him to get a good run of games and he has jot really done it for me, not been anywhere near as bad as some make out, I think he has more try assists than Austin too but he is OK in defence most half's isolated against a big guy wil struggle you need to ask why the centre n second row are letting him get into those positions ?

Irrelevant stat, it's close to the line he gets mullered or loses his player. Awful in both defence and attack
