With (fading) memories of the lights going out in a game against Leigh, I would have been highly suspicious if this had happened during a game - especially if HKR had been losing at the time!

| What happened? Did Mitch Garbutt lean against it for a breather after half a lap?

During a Sky game against the Giants the lights went out in one quarter of the ground. They played the 2nd half with a dimly lit field. Sky commitment meant the game carried on. Giants were winning at the time if I remember rightly.

and we've had our own set of lighting issues with games against Salford being delayed and the playoff game against Catalan being a joke as they wouldnt let us into the ground as the lights werent working but started the game anyway.

The problems with the lights at that game caused us to have the full lot redone 5 years ago... Unfortunately it appears the contractor has done something wrong, because even though the winds were stronger than usual this shouldn't be happening.

| It's a good job it didn't fall on to the main stand, as like has been said, there are offices in there - as I was going to get one for my company!

I seem to remember this, with Richard Silverwood being recorded saying to the players "try to keep it away from that corner".

Quite poor form the way Leeds fans have turned on Garbutt and slagging him off for no good reason now that he’s left.

| Are you sure it wasn't disgruntled FC fans after losing in the Challenge Cup?

You could also argue it’s poor form from Garbutt with his comments whilst leaving and his actions last season.
Whilst some fans may be going OTT with dismissing his ability he’s brought some of it on himself.

What were these actions exactly then? Not rumours but actual fact?
Given the reporter will have asked him about his surprising departure from Leeds what did he say that was so bad? Didn’t throw anybody personally under the bus just basically said two sides to every story. Certainly no worst than Sinfield coming out with cryptic comments that has brought about the rumours, so why is it ok when Sinfield did it but not Garbutt?
