While they were all greats in their time, the standard of the professional game has advanced so far since they played, none of them would stand out in the NRL as Gareth Widdopp does.

That line is spun out all the time and its a load of guff, nobody knows what some of the players of yesteryear would be like in the modern era. You can only judge them by their playing record and Millwards record against the Aussies is far better than Widdops. |
