With how the fixtures have fallen, with Leeds v KR, Toulouse v Widnes, Toronto v London and Fax v Salford, this weekend will sort the men from the boys.

Victories for Salford and Leeds will see them on the verge of survival but, the other 2 fixtures are fascinating.
A loss for Widnes will surely see them relegated without making it into the MPG and the loser in Toronto v London will probably be away from home in The MPG

Although the 3 x 8 structure has it's detractors and is likely to be consigned to history when the new structure is announced (assuming agreement can be reached), the fixtures in the middle 8's have far, far more interest than the so called Super 8's.

Widnes simply have to win but, their confidence is shot and they could disappear from the top flight much sooner than anticipated.

Toulouse v Widnes is the big one. Whichever club loses is going to really struggle to make the million pound game.

The qualifiers are certainly interesting, but probably for all the wrong reasons

Toulouse have put themselves back in promotion contention with a brilliant win over Super League club Widnes. It’s been a fantastic few weeks for French Rugby League.

Widnes look dead.
