I don't condone violence, but as a parent your child is your life and I can't imagine how awful it must be to witness your child being bullied.

As a parent to 3 beautiful young girls, its my worst nightmare. One of them being bullied. Bullies can end up taking peoples lives and lets be honest, the schools and police do not care one bit. All schools will do their best to brush it under the carpet so as not to ruin their oh so precious ofsted report and as for the police..lol. If the lad was a bully then im sorry, he deserved everything he got in my opinion.

pretty despicable ex pro athlete batters a 15 year old boy, only reason he is not in jail is the prisons are already too full, flat track bully on the field same off it with looks of it. bullying is bad but apparently there was no proof of bullying, vicious attack by somebody who should no better.

It's as simple as

Bully or not, if he “battered him” then he is a bully. It is a matter of degree. He probably got carried away in the heat of the moment, when he had finished he would have said, “Oh what have I done?”

If someone is bullying your kids then you are entitled to deal with it but, it depends just how the thing panned out.

Surely having a word would have stopped whatever was going but, it depends how much his own kid had suffered.

There was no evidence of Bullying........and to be clear here, this was a child, no matter of "opinion" but a matter of fact and for a Pro RL player of some strength to batter a child is unacceptable. The Law is the law, but to stand on a "moral high ground" and say "if it were my daughter/son" does not make an adult hitting a child........any child right!

Bullies are not a new phenomenon....and whilst suicide rates rise and psychiatrist visits increase it has little to do with bullies and more to do with how we are evolving as a species (or should that be devolving).....

He should be doing stir and as an added sentence, doing it with the other "child offenders"..........he's an inch away from a nonce because abuse of a child doesn't always have to be sexual........
