He's injured anyway so I don't get why his dad would blow a gasket over his lack of selection.

It did work for him at junior levels when he was at Lock Lane and I'd assume Fev Lions too unfortunately. His dad has always been the same and I can't see him changing, not the first time and doubt the last he will write into the LE.

What a total and complete embarrassment. I bet Liam himself is utterly cringing at this.

Fancy Daddy writing off to League Express sticking up for him. What other RL has player has been publicy embarrassed in such a way? No doubt Watts jnr is now having the p*ss ripped out of him in the Cas changing room

And it's not the first time Watts snr has done this. Methinks he's little more than an attention-seeker.

Its nothing to do with being offended, more to do with pointing out the embarrassing behaviour of a grown adult.

How is Watts Snr sticking up for his son in this situation? He has spat his dummy out of the pram, no more, no less.

I dont think ANYONE is offended but, it just isn't going to help.
Any parent would want to see their son/daughter prosper in their chosen field but, ranting about it publicly will probably hinder their chances of progress, Bennett in this case isn't going to move a player up the pecking order because someone has publicly had a moan.
Maybe this is how you think pro teams should sort out their match day squads
