| I think Salford, Catalans and HKR will be bolted on for the Q's by Tuesday morning and it'll be a straight toss-up between Widnes and Hudds for the last spot....and it depends on who gets the nod from Ken D.
London and Toronto, Toulouse and Fev will make up the Q's by the end of this weekend leaving the rest of the year as a procession of pointless games until we get to August.
For me it'll be
Saints
Wigan
Castleford
Leeds
FC
Wire
Wakey
Widnes Interchangeable id Davy gets Smith back into the game
Hudds
HKR
Salford
Catalans
London
Toronto
Toulouse
Featherstone
Leigh
Fax
Dewsbury
Barrow
Batley
Rochdale
Swinton
Sheffield
Leeds v Saints GF
London v Catalan MPG
Leigh Shield or whatever it's called.
I may be wrong, but this season is in danger of becoming more pointless than the Licencing years....and we still don't know what the Q's format is.....other than Toronto will get all their games in a chunk, home and away.

| Sometimes things go to form. Were you as equally as critical 6/7 rounds in previous years when Leeds & Hudds (2016) or Warrington & Catalans (2017) were struggling near the bottom?
Even if who is in the bottom 4 (SL) and top 4 (Champ.) looks obvious the difference in finishing 9th or 12th (SL) or 1st or 4th (Champ.) is very important and could be crucial.
Is the premiership dying on its backside because inevitably Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea etc. are up at the top? Your post is as see through as the Wakey "look at us" thread you criticised.

| At the start of the season I said it would be Saints first and Wigan second. At the moment I’m right but without Walmsley our pack is average at best. I think top 4 will be saints, Wigan, hull and warrington. But I’m not confident in predicting in which positions. One thing I will hang my hat on is a Wigan grand final win

| Funny last year after Easter people were still writing off Leeds and can't recall many saying they'd win or reach the GF. Wigan were in the top 4 and didn't see anybody say they'd finish outside the top 4 and getting close to that 9th place nearing the split. Warrington after a bad start had climbed to 9th and most thought they'd finish inside the top 8. Or that Salford & Wakey would be ahead of Saints & Wigan by the split.

He will be wrong. Leeds cant play saints in the final if it finishes how he says.

Nice feedback. Reality is there is maybe one position undecided in the Qualifiers by Tuesday.........BORING or what?

How.....that's just a prediction of what teams will be in the 8 at the start of the 7 game farce. Leeds, as usual will keep their run to the last few weeks of the regular season building momentum......whilst Castleford will choke before the GF this year

| At this stage last season Wigan were really starting to suffer because of the injury crisis. They had started the season brilliantly but were regularly having to play squad numbers above 35. I have never seen 35 to 41 all in the starting 17 before. It happens.
We all know that generally by this time we can see a pattern emerging. Some will put a run together to buck the trend, one way or the other. At least with the present system there remains something to play for throughout the competition.
I cannot understand the scorn being shown to the questioner as it is a reasonable point to make, most clubs that start poorly do not fundamentally improve unless they can change something and clubs that start well generally continue to do so unless something changes. My one proviso there is that a club like Wigan has not been tested yet against Saints, Cas or Leeds.

| certainly after the Easter games and next weeks games which some/most sides feel on the back of the Easter fixtures, we will have a good idea on where sides are at and certainly sides in the top 4-5 6-9 positions will inevitably be in a strong position for the last 3/5 of regular rounds. but anything can happen in the last 12 games.
Leeds will be in top 4 after regular rounds and after super 8's anybody think anything else is deluding themselves.
