| Should there be a 2018 Four Nations tournament between Australia, England, Tonga and Fiji?
They are now the 4 best countries in the World, we need to keep the momentum going for Tonga and Fiji, to do that they need to play more international games.

| I’d cut out Australia.
They are self-interested and arrogant, don’t want to support the international game or see it grow, and they don’t give two figs about growing the sport outside of their NRL bubble.
My view is we say sod then and let’s put an international calendar together minus the Aussies. Gives more incentive for players to defect from Australia and NZ to the smaller nations, and let’s introduce fairer payments to make sure parity across the countries.

| I would still have NZ in over Fiji. But if Australia are not interested then yeah it's time to move on without them.
The bigger problem is that how many of the players who are available for Australia will leave the smaller nations next year if they are asked to play in Origin?

| If Aus aren't interested in developing the international game then why not look to go for (or work towards) 2 tournaments of 6?
6 of:
Eng
NZ
Fiji
Samoa
PNG
Tonga
And a second 6 of
Ireland
Scotland
Wales
France
Lebanon
Italy
Gives all these teams regular games. Maybe as a bi-annual thing if it's too much of a risk to do it every year.
Have the first one's in PNG and South of France.
No point celebrating PNG and Tonga's success in this event and then basically seeing them disappear for 4/5 years again.

| Agree with others, if Australia aren't interested then they can bugger off. New Zealand over here the other year was great and they are coming again next year, two best games of the world cup so far haven't had the convicts in them (also two of the biggest upsets ever). International rugby league is simply more exciting without them.

NZ coming here next year, GB going down under year after. Got an email yesterday saying tickets are on sale on November 22.

Mal Meninga is starting to change the attitude of Aussies towards International RL.
Listen to what he and his players have been saying since he took over. It may take a lot longer to change the attitude of their fans but Meninga has it right and hopefully after his reign the #1 thing he changes is that attitude from top to bottom.

Seems a real shame this, it could revert everyone back to NZ rather than keep the momentum of Tonga going.

| I see no reason why Tonga can’t also come to England, ideally as a four nations tournament, if not just to play England and France.
