It was the interview with Bennett on the RL website where he states that it wasn't a difficult squad selection. People like Watts, Shenton, Shaul, Sneyd and some others must be a bit cheesed off that they are overlooked for worse options that have been selected in the squad |

I disagree. After Hardaker any full-back choice is a step down. However, Ratchford personally had quite a good season in a poor team and did well in the Samoa friendly. |

Shenton and Sneyd, defininitely. I'm a Wire fan but can't understand how Kevin Brown can be in the squad. His only good game all year was the WC challenge against the Brisband Broncos. I hope that ( and a few contributions I suppose it's fair to say in the friendly against Samoa ) hasn't convinced Bennett that he's good against international opposition. In the case of Shenton, how we can once again start a tournament with a second row forward ( Bateman) at centre is beyond me. Shenton sometimes looks limited in attack, but even then he's better than Bateman as he's a specialist centre. In defence, Shenton has always been top notch. |

Can hadly think so as Ratchford has never played on the wing, for instance. A World Cup is not the time to start.
