Yeah definitely, we need a Manchester club to prosper but a bit like Liverpool, you're either a red or a blue. Hard market to crack but I've taken my City - Supporting mate to a few games and he pops over for a couple of games a season.

A pure Manchester club I think is a must. However, to attract floating football fans who casually watch Rugby League, does the kit need to stay away from Blue or Red? With it being a blue kit, would that detract United fans from supporting them? I don't know how strong the feeling is in Manchester for things like that.

Yeah its pretty strong. I think they should align to City myself. Already playing at their reserve stadium + Salford Red Devils is surely the club for any United fans (that actually live in Manchester)
