| To do with the whole no try bs. If a ref thinks try or no try he should go with that.
Wire do seem to get more 50/50 decisions though then most.

| Maybe coz the onfield ref gave no try but personally i thought the slo mo proved there was no separation between ball and fingers and by todays standards would have give it

No separation, but the ball bounced, there was absolutely no downward pressure.
If that's a try we may as well call it gridiron and get the pads and helmets out.

I don't think the video ref could decide if there was downward pressure either, so I think it was right to go with the on field ref decision. Stevo was paranoid and convinced try time, he nearly busted a blood vessel when the no try decision came up.

| Stevo was banging on about Catalans being hard done to when Horo was judged to have been tackled when offloading for a GarcÃa possible try. The reply from behind clearly showed his ball carrying arm hit the deck.

| I don't think he had sufficient control of the ball. And I like the comment that Wire get most of the 50/50s as soon as they climb top.

Yes , but when his arm hit the deck no player had hold of him
I reckon Catalans get more tough calls than most teams

| The refusal to award the obvious try to Richard Myler was another example of English referees' biases against the only French club in Super League.
When Toulouse enters Super League in 2018, you will see exactly the same thing happening with English referees. When Toronto joins Super League in 2019 you will see exactly the same thing. It is as if English referees are all members of UKIP and in favour of Brexit. We need to have Australian or New Zealand referees adjudicating Catalans (and later Toulouse and Toronto) games every week.

| Sent up as no try. No celebration from Myler. And about 10 looks shows he still wasn't sure. Plus the quality of the shot was too unclear.

| Was a 50/50 call,if it was sent up as a try probably would have been given.
And Jean, if you reckon an antipodean ref would have given that I suggest you look at the result of a very similar video ref desicion against Ryan Hall vs the Aussies a few years back.

Is that the incident where he brushed it with his finger? If so it was quite rightly ruled out, like Mylers yesterday.
