| Anyone else slightly alarmed by some of the attendances this week?
Salford barely getting over 3k, Widnes 4.5k. Even Cas/Wigan which was a standout fixture only got 5.5k
I know it was a Thursday but I still felt it was lower than expected.
10 years ago only London were getting these sorts of attendances.

| Attendance threads aren't allowed.
They upset too many people.

| Salford should be degraded that they got a lower attendance than Newcastle, with a sizable Wakefield contingent.

| 20 thousand free and cheap tickets given out every week would sort the problem out in no time

Genius. In fact, why not ban paid-for tickets altogether, thus guaranteeing every game as a sellout? And saving on ticket office staff and turnstile operators too?

Actually, what about doing just that? Just for one weekend mind you and all tickets must be claimed at least one day prior to kick off with a max of 2 adult tickets per person.
Just as a sport wide event to raise the profile of the game and interest in the sport?
Bit of blue sky out the box thinking there

Thats a good idea you could do a "watch now pay later" scheme, a panel would judge the game for its entertainment and content value then a post game charge could be made for later payment.

How about a honesty box on every turnstile, that way we find out what value people put on the product

| 11,247 at Hull FC v St Helens with a small away contingent and played on the same afternoon Hull City were playing at Wembley. About a thousand up on last year's fixture.

| Bank holiday weekend, nice weather and Cas v Wigan on TV (who needs the M62 on lead up to the bank holiday) will have all dragged the attendances down.
But then we have a sport that has near zero media presence outside of Sky TV, even on Sky it takes some finding. Do I see any real marketing at all? I can't remember the last time I saw any marketing for the game.

2016 treble winners. Should be getting good crowds.

Wakefield string together a few wins and suddenly forget the 2k crowds they were getting 10 months ago?

Got no gripe with Salford BUT
Off the field you surpass Wakefield in pretty much every aspect apart from management e.g Koukash v Carter
New stadium you barely fill week in week out
A decent coaching set up with Tim Sheens at the helm
Playing rosters of top 8 quality (on paper)
And even with our awful season last year this year you have the same if not worse attendance average than us.
This isn't a go at the Salford supporters that turn up, it's stating facts. Like the fact that Wakefield and Castleford have the worst grounds in super league.
