Anybody else sick of Eddie when he says "If ______ win tonight then it will be a famous victory!" He uses it without it even being relevant to the match in front of us. He's just said it again about Hull if they beat Wigan.... why? Hull are right up there and favourites before kick off, so why would it be a famous victory? I feel like its disrespectful to Hull and other teams alike when facing clubs like Wigan and St Helens, both no push overs and they have earned their status over the years but this is the kind of comment that really has to take current form into account and he never seems to. Hull and Wigan are rubbing shoulders on the table right now, it'll be more impressive to me if Wigan toppled Hull tonight...

It's just a remark that I find to be very condescending.

I don't think he'll change the silly things he says. As long as him and Stevo are commentating any new RL viewers won't understand what's going on.

I'm enjoying the game build ups now with stats and news of the RL. Feels quite professional.
The screen at the end is pretty good and will get better once the players learn how to use the screen.

Don't leave out Phil Clarke, his tantrum over the Ellis 'cheat' merely exposed his Wigan bias for all to see (hear).
Fair gave me a chuckle that one

To be fair to Clarke I think he was countering O'Connor's point that it was "great play" from Ellis to trap O'Loughlin and gain a penalty.
On that principle I agree with Clarke, it's no different to footballers diving who we all happily take the mick out of.

However in this case, as usual, O'Connor and Stevo got it wrong. Ellis didn't trap O'Loughlin in, O'Loughlin deliberately went back over the top of Ellis to try and slow the play the ball and rightly got penalised for it as Stuart Cummings said.
