This board is great.. If your a so called big side then a win is a win but if your a bottomish side club who beat a top side then it must be down to other factors like injuries or one eye on a bigger game but credit is never given to the unfancied team for playing open expansive rugby with great defence. Widnes today played leeds off the park and were 16-0 up after 12min and before any of the 3 leeds players went off injured. And as for players missing for Leeds.. Tough it happens to every side. Widnes had 3 first team players missing today as well.

Why do you care when there are only about 5 widnes fans who bother coming on here?

That being said, it sounds like you guys played very well and at home there is always the threat of Widnes doing that to any side.
As a Bulls fan it's a bit worrying because Widnes were largely tipped to be in the middle 8s come the end of the season.

Leeds weren't taking it seriously today.

But you struggled to finish off Wakey the week before and only won by a few. To get recognition you need to back up wins like this like when we went on our 6 or 7 game unbeaten run beating teams like Saints and Leeds etc...

Back it up with wins over next 3 or 4 rounds and you will get the recognition you wish for.

But still, to beat a Leeds side by this score line is great. Regardless of injuries etc... so Well Done to Widnes.

Won't do any harm if Hull, Widnes, Warrington and just maybe Salford can be in the top 4 this season, Leeds, Wigan and St Helens are losing the effect of influential leaders this season. You can see a big problem for Leeds at the moment, they have already lost key players with injuries and with the WCC up next week they will give it there best shot, lose more players though and the Leeds season could be under threat of finishing before its actually started.
