| Just a quick post to see if there is anyone on this forum who can boast to not missing a rugby league game in a long while, like a couple of years? I'm doing a University assignment on the broad topic of 'fans' and would like to see if there is anyone willing for me to interview them about it and why they do it etc?

Last competitive league game I missed for Salford was Widnes at home 2005 when I was 16, I was on holiday in Tenerife. I was back for Leigh away the week after.
Since then I have missed a friendly away at Hull KR around 2010 (I think) and Catalan away in the challenge cup a couple of years back because there was no flights running.

There is a guy who posts on the Halifax forum who hasn't missed a game in a lot of years. Might be worth reposting this on there. Can't think of his username off the top of my head. Bentleyman possibly?

I've never met 'spelly' but I've heard of the legend. Respect. In this day and age when RL is full of arm chair fans who only show up for the big day out, respect to him for remaining loyal, bit of a character too from what I've heard.
