| The atmosphere at the ground today was awful. It was extremely quiet for large parts, barely any chants. The loudest was singing Neil diamond at half time and for the Mexican wave! Need some form of drum or something to liven everyone up.

| I think its hard when you have all different fans all together rather than just one group of the same fans. Thats one of the worst atmospheres I've seen at the KC. There are not much of a range of England chants.
The atmosphere before the game was buzzing and it seemed to die soon as the game started! The light display was amazing!

| When a team hardly ever plays at home in a big game you cannot build a fanbase with fanfare. And that's what we have with England. We have no sustained interest in the national team so there is no continued attendance or support because we rarely ever have any games. That was the first big home game we've played since the World Cup two full years ago. Imagine if our club teams only played big home games once every two years, we wouldn't give a about them.

| I as a fan are much more passionate when watching Hull Fc then when I watch England. Especially when they isn't one FC player in the England team. I did give a shout for Sam Moa though!

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| Heard a whisper that Cameron Hughes will be at the Olympic Stadium next week. Wigan and Leeds fans will know all about him. If you haven't heard of him, google him.

Agree with that, there's not much else the RFL could have done the pre-match was superb. Ultimately we need England or finally win a series or a 4Nations, they still haven't shaken off the decades of being nearly men.

| Rugby League fans are too parochial to actually cheer a player from another club, hence you get the Leeds fans cheering Ryan Hall etc.
How many English clubs were represented, about five?

| Doesn't help that some fans can't get outta their club mindset. Sat near some Cas fans who just berated Hardaker all game. Every time Williams didn't come up with a play ... Gale would of done better there. When Moa scored ... England won't win this too many Leeds and Wigan players. Even moaning when NZ got the try disallowed in the first half.

I’m afraid this has been the case for many a year.
Not sure of the reason, maybe the fact that so few clubs make up the England team, but even when we used to beat the Aussies, back in the day, I can’t remember how many teams were represented, maybe nothing’s changed on that front.
Or it could just be down to the endless decades of failure at International level, which has made supporters so insular.

| Setting up an official England supporters club could be an idea.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

| I don't usually like drums but what's happened to the St George mascot with his drum? He helped get an atmosphere going at the world cup games in 2013.

| Really flat at the KC yesterday, which is unusual.
Been there plenty of times for internationals and its never been like that, it was like a library.
Maybe folk were too sober, t service at the bar at HT was so slow e gave up waiting
Seriously though, it was flat in there, lets hope for a bit more life next week

| I think most English RL fans are quite fond of New Zealand - they are, after all, not Australia - so there isn't the level of animosity or passion in the crowd that you'll see in a big club game or for England vs Aus. Club loyalties would definitely be put aside for that one.
