Really great news, great day for super league, can someone just clarify something for me though? I saw the totalrl article said it was sold out and over 73,000 will be there. Well I know that old Trafford holds 75,000 so do they reduce it for rugby or is that simply just a nonsense sentence?

Think there's still a few individual seats left, the capacity of Old Trafford I'd 75,731, I think they have to reduce this slightly for the grand final due to putting 2 big screens in the ground for video ref decisions. Think the capacity for the grand final is just short of 75,000 but don't quote me on that. |

Ah didn't think of screens, anyway, an incredible attendance, we need to keep up the good work in the future, I mean that attendance is only going to be 8-9,000 les than the NRL grand final!
I reckon it will be one of the closest finals ever, score back and forth, end to end play and it will come down to a missed conversion, leeds by 2, thats my prediction, gonna be a memorable one. |
